Winterization
Winterization is the most important service you can do at the end of a season. Water left in your engine, cooling system, or plumbing doesn't just sit there. it freezes, expands, and cracks components that are expensive to replace. A proper winterization eliminates that risk entirely and protects the investment you've made in your boat.
At Donlin Marine, we follow a thorough, system-by-system winterization process for every boat we service. We don't cut corners or skip steps. W work through your engine, fuel system, cooling lines, bilge, and battery the right way, every time. Combine your winterization with off-season storage and we handle everything in one place, making the end of your season as easy as the beginning.

We flush the cooling system and fog the engine internals with protective oil to guard against corrosion and cylinder damage during storage. From there, fuel stabilizer is added and run through the entire fuel system. preventing the gumming, varnish buildup, and degradation that sitting fuel causes over a long winter.
Every water passage is then fully drained, engine, manifolds, hoses, and any onboard plumbing , eliminating any freeze damage risk before temperatures drop. Finally, we disconnect and properly store your battery so it's protected from deep discharge and the cold that shortens battery life over the off-season.
